Four OML Board Seats Up for Election

There are four board seats representing the Oklahoma Municipal League Board of Directors up for election this year and will be voted on at the 2013 OML annual business meeting, Thursday, morning, September 19, 2013 which is held during the OML annual conference in Tulsa.
Municipal officials located in the districts listed that are interested in this position should submit a letter of interest and a resolution from your municipality supporting your nomination to the OML offices, 201 NE 23rd Street, Attention: Nominating Committee to be received no later than Monday, August 5, 2013. The OML Nominating Committee will select the nominees to present to the OML Board of Directors and the OML general membership to be voted on at the annual business meeting.
The board seats up for election are:
District 1 – The Honorable Elaine Carr, Mayor of West Siloam Springs currently holds this seat
District 3 – The Honorable Jeff Shockley, Mayor of Poteau currently holds this seat
District 5 – Dan Galloway, City Manager of Stillwater currently holds this seat
District 10 – The Honorable Mike Brown, Mayor of Weatherford currently holds this seat
The current board members in these districts have expressed their desire to continue to represent their respective districts if they are reappointed.
