NEW GRANTS FOR CITIES TO DEVELOP CREATIVE PLACEMAKING

FALL PLANTING - JUST ONE MORE GOOD REASON TO CALL 811

Fall always brings out many homeowners in Oklahoma who are starting that long list of chores such as landscaping and do-it-yourself projects and the potential for accidently severing underground utilities increase. The depth of utility lines varies and there may be multiple utility lines in a common green belt.

WHAT'S IN THE IDEAL GOVERNMENT ETHICS CODE?

There's a lot of argument over what ought to be in local government ethics codes. Countless hours are spent debating whether codes should be 'aspirational', prescriptive codes of conduct, an overview of legal mandates and oversight requirements, or some combination. From my view, the entire conversation is a waste of time and detracts from the two real questions.
